Non-profit organizations
Are you responsible for the oversight of your non-profit? Do you participate in organizational decisions, get involved with your board, support budgets, program development, grant-writing, personnel management, and/or other operational activities?
As an ED, board member, or other member of a non-profit, you very likely encounter organizational challenges that impair the work - your own and that of the collective personnel. We can help both at the level of specific decisions and conflicts and also at the level of organizational culture.
Our approach is a pragmatic, multi-faceted toolkit that starts with a clear-headed look at process. Depending on the situation, we might develop a plan to interview the relevant stakeholders, provide coaching for leadership, facilitate group conversations, and co-construct “small experiments” for your team to try out new ideas and figure out approaches that can work for everyone’s beneift.
Sometimes our tools require a short intervention involving just one or two people; other times we might be involved long term to see a full process through to completion. The depth and scale of our work is entirely up to you, and we won’t recommend a strategy that keeps us in the mix unless it is very clear that is essential. Our preference is to provide you with tools you can use when we are not involved.
